I picked up a camera and moved to the Mountain West when I turned 19, determined to make a life out of creativity and adventure.
By combining my artistic and observational nature with a steadfast commitment to growth and learning, I’ve developed a well-rounded skillset necessary to capture moments in the raw, uncompromising elements, as well as the more intimate, personal moments.
As a creative in the action sports industry, I appreciate the slower pace of video editing. I’m inspired by narrative-based stories and have been fortunate to work and learn with Teton Gravity Research on short-form content. Since 2022, I’ve worked with TGR as a digital content editor and assistant editor for longer projects.
Mark has freelanced for six years for a variety of brands and organizations. Thanks to his contract with Teton Gravity Research, he’s been able to work with some of the leading brands in the Ski Industry- Atomic, Dakine, BCA, K2, Scott, Garmin, and many more.
After four years of skiing, climbing, backpacking, and occasionally studying, he graduated from Gonzaga University in 2023 with a marketing degree and a minor in visual literacy.
He’s been a photographer for six years and a videographer for three years. He’s experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom, and is proficient in DaVinci Resolve. He’s been a lifetime skier and has two years of backcountry experience, including an AIARE Level 1 certification. Mark is plenty comfortable with a camera on climbing walls, backpacking trails, and in bodies of water.
